The Student School Choice/Transfer Window for the 2026–2027 school year is now open and will close February 18, 2026. A transfer form is required to be filled out each year. In the weeks following the deadline of the transfer window, principals will then communicate to parents/guardians if approved or denied.

• A new School Choice/Transfer request is necessary each and every year.

* Students approved for School Choice/Transfers will not be eligible to receive SMCISD Transportation Services.
