SMCISD students have free access to several thousand SMCISD eBooks & audiobooks that can be accessed on phones (iPhone or Android), tablets, iPads, chromebooks, laptops, and/or desktops. Sora by Overdrive is used to access SMCISD's digital content (eBooks & audiobooks).

Sign In From Computer or Chromebook

1. Browse to https://clever.com/in/smcisd (our district single sign-on portal)
2. Students will log in with their school ID or by typing in their username and password
3. Click on the "Sora by Overdrive" app
4. Choose San Marcos Consolidated
5. Begin browsing and checking out books!

Sign In From phone (iPhone or Android), iPad or tablet

1. Download the Clever app
2. Download the Sora app
3. Launch the Clever app
4. Students will log in with their school ID or by typing in their username and password
5. Click on the "Sora by Overdrive" app
6. Choose San Marcos Consolidated
7. Begin browsing and checking out books!

San Marcos Consolidated ISD has partnered with the San Marcos Public Library to offer all SMCISD students digital library cards.  All SMCISD students can now access thousands of public library ebooks and audiobooks from our district Sora app.  To access all San Marcos Public Library ebooks, audiobooks, and language instruction materials follow these steps:

Sign In From Computer or Chrombook

2. Students will login with their school badge or by typing in their username and password
3. Click on the "Sora by Overdrive" app
4. Choose San Marcos Consolidated
5. Begin browsing SMCISD eShelf and borrow books!
6. Add a public library by clicking on the three lines at the top right
   • Click on "add a public library'
   • Type in San Marcos Public Library
   • Choose "Central Texas Digital Consortium"
   • Browse the digital library. Once you are ready to borrow a book, click the book image and click Borrow.  Students will enter their student id (lunch number)
